Fayetteville and NW Arkansas
The McCafferty School of Irish Dance is starting a new beginner class this coming week in Fayetteville, Fort Smith and Little Rock. The class is open to boys and girls, men and women of all age groups. The first lesson is free and weekly lessons with Ms. Judy run 10$ a week (which is really not bad).
Traditional Irish Dancing is enjoyed world-wide by dancers of all ages, children and adults. As dancers advance in skill-level, Irish Dancing becomes a highly aerobic exercise. Anyone can learn Irish Dancing and everyone enjoys it. Since 1980, Ms. Judy has been certified as both a teacher and an adjudicator of Irish Dance by The Commission of Irish Dance in Dublin, Ireland. Ms. Judy’s pupils regularly compete for the North American and World Championships of Irish Dancing.
For more information please visit the website: http://www.mccaffertyirishdancers.com/Welcome.html
Specific times for the beginner classes vary on location so if interested the best bet is to email or call Ms. Judy, she will get back to you!
Does anyone know the name of (or if it even exists) a coffee shop located inside the medical park across from Washington Regional?
I'm trying to track down this info...
Edited to add...I found the information...thanks
I'm looking for a reputable garage/mechanic in the Fayetteville area. I'd relied on the Saturn dealership (as I still have a bit of the warranty left), but they've closed. Is there anyplace recommended in the Fayetteville area for general repair?
There will be a yard sale today across from Marvin's IGA on Lafayette. Art/craft supplies, kids' toys, baby clothes, bassinet, big toy kitchen (plastic), lots of other stuff.
Hello Chocolate Lovers!
Ever eaten chocolate when you're stressed out or tired?
I've been a single Mom this week while Rob is out of town. Normally getting up several times a night with the kids would leave me cranky and exhausted. Amazingly I'm feeling pretty darn chipper for someone who has been up at 3:00am for the past several days. And I haven't had any caffeine, cookies, cake or candy. Normally, I would reach for those immediately and hope they would help.
So how have I gotten through this week without caffeine and sugary snacks? What's my secret?
Willy Wonka is just kicking himself not to have invented this stuff himself! To find out why eating healthy chocolate gives you more energy and reduces your stress levels, bring a friend or loved one (or both) to the *Stearn Street Apartments Club House tomorrow, Saturday, February 28th at 3:00pm.
It's the coziest setting we've found to sit back, relax, taste and learn about healthy chocolate. Ahhhhh...
See you there!
PS Be the first to confirm that you'll be there and you'll get a free sipping chocolate gift set (complete with chocolate colored mugs and gold spoons) when you attend the tasting!
PSS Make sure you come THIS SATURDAY if you're looking for a financial "plan B". The business opportunity for healthy chocolate is taking off astronomically and I want the people I know and like to benefit from it right now!
From I-540, Exit 67 to Hwy 71-B (N. College Ave.) Go East on Joyce Blvd. North on Vantage Drive. Main Entrance on Left. Located between Joyce Blvd. and Zion Road in Fayetteville. Go toward the big flag and you'll see the Club House. Chocolate tasting is inside to the right and down the hall.
Trying to share the wealth here, ya'll.

I know this is the Fayetteville group, but just in case anyone is going to be in Bentonville tonight...
Just a quick note - we are having a tasting at Compton Gardens in Bentonville tonight (Thursday) at 7:00pm (directions below). DO NOT come to this tasting unless you are ready for a major life change. About an hour after the last tasting we held there, one of the attendees discovered he had lost his 20+ year nicotine addiction!
I'm not even kidding.
If you'd like to attend a tasting in Fayetteville (see warning above), bring a friend and come to the Stearn Street Apartments clubhouse on Saturday, February 28th at 3:00pm.
We will also be hosting an event launching our new probiotic chocolate (it's my new favorite!) for medical professionals and the general public on March 27th & 28th (Friday and Saturday). More about that later. If you are, or know, a medical professional who might be interested in this event, please let me know and I will add them to our invitation list. Everyone who attends will get a sample, so it will be RSVP only. If you'd like to reserve your seat early, please let me know and I'll contact you with more details.

I found this little guy wet and cold and lost. I cant keep it but took it in for a few days in hopes of finding him a good home. If you have a good home for him call me 479-214-2226 Jacob
I have had a painted turtle for about 4 years, since he was a hatchling. He had a bout with a respiratory problem when he was young, but since then he's shown no signs of trouble.
Recently, he's seemed to have stopped eating (that I can tell while I am home). I've tried several types of food, live and canned, and he won't touch them. No signs of respiratory problem, though, so I do not know what might be wrong. A trip to the vet would probably be best, but I can't afford it right now.
If anyone has knowledge of reptiles and would like to adopt my little guy, please contact me, meraley at gmail dot com. I hate to see him go, but I also want him to be healthy!
(I won't let him go with someone who does not have experience with or know a good amount about reptiles/turtles.)
